It seems I fell off the wagon…

   The half marathon broke me. Not physically. Physically I recovered in a couple of days. The aches eased, the bruises faded and the chafing (yes, the chafing!) healed. But mentally… mentally I was a bit broken.    For 12 weeks prior to the half marathon that’s all I thought about. The week before pay day…

      As this week has been the week before pay day and I have been incredibly broke. I have Christmas to pay for and a ski trip next year… and you know pints to buy every Friday and Christmas parties to go to and (possibly) buy new clothes for. All the important things, naturally. A new direction?

   So, it may look like I’ve given up on BEDN, and I guess I kind of have. But only because I’ve been having a little think about this blog. So I have a confession…

So, I’m quite vocal on here (and other social media sites!) about my love of exercising. But I have a secret. I’m actually incredibly lazy. Yup, that’s right, I love nothing more than spending a full day in bed, on my own, watching Netflix. The thought of getting up and doing… well, anything… urgh.
